Tough finish for everyone. Tony wasn't proud in his interview. Even though it went like it should, it is still good that Kyle did not get hurt. That was a hard hit. And how about Kasey, wow. That too was a hard hit. Glad to see they are ok. Now; someone tell me what Sliced Bread was doing? Spotter screaming go low, he has a clear view of Kyle sitting in the middle of the track and the wreck happened several seconds before, but he still slams into Kyle's driver side door wide open. That is the one that usually does the deed.

Regardless, it was a good race. Stands not full. Happy for Smoke. May be the best there is, was. Just my thoughts.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

Congrats Smoke!!!! I missed the NASCAR Race, was at Oswego watching the Supermodified action; will have to watch Speed Report and/or NASCAR Victory Lane tonight, from everyones post it sounds like I missed an exciting finish. (Also glad I decided to buy a new laptop this week, 17 days without computer access especially with Sprint Week action next week would have left me with IOW withdrawal when my brothers computer headed west.)

Smoke 2009 NASCAR Champion, that's my prediction!!!!!!!!!!!

On my way home from South Buxton, after watching Limaland and Eldora Modified racer Jeff Babcock celebrate the 4th of July in Canada by handily taking $1000 from our regulars, I listened to MRN as well. They mentioned that the July race always sells way less tickets then the 500, and that the backstretch is always closed off. As for if this is the media friendly statement, I do not know.

I noticed the same thing on the replays, what was sliced bread doing?

I am no Busch fan but admire his hunger and drive for winning. I was very glad to see him climb from the car and head for the pits to have a "conference" with someone, before the officials reminded him of his obligatory trip to the infield care center.

Hi Patti, I agree. Smoke gets another Championship. I am running a pole on Coleman's web site and it is a close race between Kyle, Jeff and Tony. Pretty cool. How was Oswego? 4 weeks until we run there with the Silver Crown Car. Testing the week after next locally.

Off to Kokomo today.... Cheers.
