Springfield mile and Macon double header. Hopefully most of Midget week and And Sliver crown at the Action Track. Fingers crossed on the last one.

Brent

I always thought we were about the same age. I turned sixty in August of 2022. Gave myself a new left knee! I am contemplating retirement after 27 years. Big decision. HUGE.

One of the issues I have is the ability to spend. Racing plays a huge role in this issue.

I will hit all the events in the State. I love Midget and Sprint week and the Smackdown is pretty special as well. I also love the Silver Crown Series and if I were to participate it would be in this division.

I'd like to plan an Indy trip BUT only if Terre Haute is running Wednesday May 24th. If so then we'd also attend Thursday May 25th @ Circle City and Midwest Thunder midgets / Friday May 26th @ IRP Silver crown and midgets / Saturday May 27th Little 500 @ Anderson / Sunday May 28th @ Indy 500

Knoxville is running their 360 winged sprint division with USAC on Friday and their 410 winged sprint division with USAC on Saturday. At least that is what their published schedule says.

I always look forward to the high banks. SC at Winchester has been terrific the last two seasons. Maybe with new owner at Salem, there will be a renewal of the Joe James/Pat O'Connor some day.

We can only hope! I really love the drive down to Salem in August. The Joe James/Pat O'Connor was really a special event for Me. I was a helper when Jacob Wilson won the darn thing driving my buddy Jack French's car. Great night.... but it didn't make up the evening in July 1990... I been to tons of races there. Really kind of hard to strap a buddy into a car knowing it could be the last time you ever talk to him....

We were and still are there. We have to move on, Hubie. I know if it were me, I would want all to move on.

Just because you can never forget doesn't mean you can't always remember. There is many a shoulder to lean on.

Chiming in live from the West Coast of Michigan.... Mike
