Hey Smokey! Great to hear from you. I'm still fighting this colon cancer and lately it's been beating me up... So, I've been pretty grumpy to be honest.

BTW, I cannot remember when Dad actually started racing the Charlie Alfater car - was that 1968? Also, when he sold that car and had Lloyd Shores build the last car... was that the winter of 1975? I want to say we raced the new Shores from 1976 - 78. I'm almost certain he sold everything out in 1978 because that is when I turned 16 and boy was I hot! I don't think I spoke to he or my mom for three days! LOL.

I'm not sure when your dad started running the Altfater, I don't remember it being around until the early 70's.

I was thinking that Lloyd built the new car in mid to late 74, but I'm not sure.

Keep hanging in there.
