Just wondering, why did not the steel block series work the last time you tried it?

Don't rule out Ohio please. This is much needed and if the promoters have any sense they will get behind this because it will only help them in the future.

I think it would be a cool deal if there were a weight rule, like say steel block class have to weight 1400 or something like that w/ driver, make the aluminum block make that weight and all led should be added between the firewall and the radiator below the hood and above the lower frame rails, that would be the easiest way to make it a prodominately steel block class, but not exclude anyone that really wanted to race with you

The latest from my office is things are looking positive. We now have eighteen committed racers plus alot of other interests. I appreciate the support and feel we can go ahead in the right direction. DMR22, Darrell I need your address and email address so I can correspond with you. The interest is spread out, so hopefully we can get cars in different areas of Indiana, Illinois, and Northern Kentucky. I will try to keep updates of progress on IOW. Thank You, Sam SR

Series is needed for the support racers who own a steel motor to cheaply move into sprint cars. They can pick up a cheap roller throw their motor in it and buy some spares and go racin.
Maybe Danville might run a few races???
Do we need another sprint cars series in the mid-west?
If you can get 20 - 22 cars to commit to every race, Yes.
Good Luck,

D.O.

Next weeks show is moved to Tuesday night at 7 on www.racefanradio.com and live at Kelly's.
Christmas show the next week on Monday.

Here is an update. Twenty cars have committed to be interested in the Series. The official logo for the Series is SCORA Sprint Car Series, which stands for Sprint Car Owners Racing Association. I am starting to contact tracks and will have a meeting for those interested when I have solid information to pass along. Also, I have contacted some interested sponsors for the Series. Still can use more committed racers. One interesting item I had is I talked to Bob McIntosh and Arin is back in school and has recovered well. The McIntosh are interested in supporting the Series. Thank the Lord for his Grace.
