I remember one of the first year winged races at the Burg where a guy who had no wing huggy polled it to the win

Chuck, who seen some great winged races at the old burg including one of the Outlaw shows where Haud won from like 12th. Heats, Why do they start em straight up? Really both the all stars and the Woo have very FAN UNFRIENDLY FORMATS. Not like a USAC show where the fast guys start 6-8 two slowest on tail.

The outlaws can not handle having a past after the first turn of any race that is why they are the best train racing show there is.A couple of years ago they put on a front like they were going to change things to put some actual racing on the track and run long features like they used to.But of course the people running them now have no backbone at all to straighten up this screwed up mess.

Actually, there is some changes coming next year to maybe help eliminate the choo choo effect. They are making the wings flat, both in WoO and the All Stars.
As far as good racing with a wing, anybody who saw the Hoosier Fall Classic this year, saw a very good race with lots of passing and action.
Thanks, Dave

All the wing haters can say what you want I dont really care. I have been to several WOO shows that is where is my money will be spent. Haubstaudt this year reserve seating for that WING show was sold out in March. So somebody likes the WHANGS!
I did not see a full house at the Indiana Sprint Week shows or the 10 grand show. The racing at those shows were good just didnt see a sellout.

Great Job Dave...When do we get tickets!

Glad to here that they are thinking about some changes again and as always Dave is on here to let us know what is going on wish more promoters would take note of how he listens and reads the post on here then replies. You have a first rate facility there in Lawrenceburg was able to make the first night of Indiana speedweeks this year and all I can say is what a great place for racing.

Those of you that say you will support the Burg arent doing a very good job of supporting your local track by saying youre going elsewhere that night

Will we have a choice? Does Socialist Government allow for us to choose what race track we attend?

Say that when you have to pay for it. Who are you to decide what people like or not or can afford? IMHO the products not worth it. Theres many who dissagree. So be it

Chuck betting Chris wouldn't have been at the HFC if he wasn't on the payroll

I agree, Dave. The All-Star feature was a great show. The heats weren't very exciting but, they were going after it in the Feature! I got my money's worth that night.
