What is with the B Main for the Midgets? In the years past, there were not enough cars to make the 33 car field.
My main concern is that all their programs (except The Hulman Classic) have run late, with only one class.
I can see this being a 2 day show when all is said and done.
I was planning on going, but with the Mods and the program they are trying to run, I might just go to the 'Burg. At least they will be done before midnight.

With the UMP Fall Nationals at Eldora, the Modified count will be lower than most might think, which will speed up the program.

I think it sounds like a great day of racing to me.
The modifides put on a great show and I can't see how they could hurt the track with thier little 8" tires.
The Indy driver thing might be "interesting" to say the least, but if the fans get a chance to meet some of these guys it might be a good deal for everybody.
My only concern is trying to put all these cars and drivers inside the track for such a long period of time without any comforts of their tow vehicles/trailers etc. I think thats whats gonna hurt The Action Track in the future.

Ive seen more spins and lengthy delays by Midgets and Sprints than I have for Modifieds.
If I were to institute a 2 spin rule, it will be for EVERYONE.

Were you at Sprintweek a few years ago when they ran the mod show while waiting for some USAC drivers to return from the Silver Crown race in Milwaukee. 'Nuff said
