Starbucks at Markland Mall completely FLAT! Poles down and an obvious tornado path from there east thru the neighborhood. Trees snapped, billboards destroyed, lots of debris. We were asking why B.C. let it rain on his party, little did we know that he steered the tornado away from us.

Is everyone in the campgrounds just going to ride this out?

I pray that this second tornado went north of the track...

Gas City is/was on tap to run that night.

We are getting some rotational in the skies in Connersville not too far from Whitewater Valley Speedway.

Hope everybody is Okay. That may be the first time I ever heard Kokomo mentioned on the national news. Usually that is not good.

It got kinda scary at the track when this was all going on. My wife & I and a bunch of other people ended up huddled in the cooking area inside the concession stand. At the same time, people were posting pictures of the tornado on facebook and we could look at them, knowing it wasn't far away.

Gas Cities events for Sept. 2nd are cancelled.

A shelter is open at the Kokomo event center if anyone needs it.
