That was the best I've seen New Egypt in a couple years. They watered the Pi$$ out of it and ended up wheel packing for 30-40 minutes. Kinda looked like Kokomo when they wheel pack (which is never a thing here on the east coast). New Egypt management saw the grief going on with dried rubbered up tracks the first two nights and they made sure it wasn't going to be that last night. They ended up having two sets of hot laps for USAC because the first set was a little too sloppy and the USAC guys wanted an extra time on the track to set up for Qualifying. Qualifying started an hour and 20 minutes late (8:20pm) but was worth the wait with how wet and good the track turned out to be. Show got done right around 11. Not many yellow's in the USAC feature. Maybe 2? I wasn't home until just after 2 and up at 6:30 for work so photos haven't even been uploaded to my laptop yet.
