My daughter would not go anywhere her cell phone service was put down on purpose.
Really are there fans out there that are saying "I was going to go to XYZ Speedway tonight, but I just learned that Bobby will be streaming live so I'm staying home to catch the action on my laptop or smart phone"?

Agreed. Just saying that will be the next logical step for a track to take in order to stop people from streaming. It's a short sighted and narrow view that's usually the result of a old school promoter who does not embrace the direction of a modern society.
Here and I'm trying to add wifi and networking at the track I work for so people CAN do what others are trying to prevent. It's a whole new brave technical frontier and local tracks had better step up their game and take advantage of it.
You put jammers in and I sure as hell won't go. I was at bloomington once when my father called with clots in his lungs and I got a mother that is a two time heart attack survivor.
Fanschoice.tv shows live big block mod racing and several other tracks including AMA Pro Flat Track live all the time for free. Has that hurt attendance or made more want to visit? In my case I can't wait to see em at Indy. Lima and other places.
When USAC was free streaming many of their races. I sure as hell didnt skip one I could make, Just because they were.
