Jac Haudenschild and Christopher Bell made up the front row for the 40 lap, $10,000 to win WoO Main event with Haudenschild leading lap one over Bell and Daryn Pittman. Donny Schatz moved to the outside of Pittman for fourth but couldn’t make the pass. Up front Bell looked to the outside for the lead on lap five. Bell immediately opened up a half straight lead over Haudenschild, while Pittman hounded Haudenschild for the runner up spot. The caution flew on lap seven for Greg Wilson who had spun on the backstretch. On the restart, Schatz got around Pittman for the third spot. Bell began to pull away once again, moving into lapped traffic on lap 11. Behind him, Schatz moved to the second spot around Haudenschild on lap 14. The caution flew for the second time on lap 14, as Hunter Scheurenberg slowed to a stop in turn one. Gary Taylor flipped on the restart, bringing out the red flag. The field spread out on the restart, with Bell up high and Schatz down low trying to reel him in. Bell bobbled on the top, allowing Schatz to close in to a car length. Bell got into a lapped car, allowing Schatz to take the lead away on lap 20. Schatz held a half straight lead with just 15 laps to go, as they battled through lapped traffic. Schatz was able to move around two lapped cars and put some distance between he and Bell. Pittman moved around Haudenschild for third on lap 28. Haudenschild took the spot back on lap 30, with Pittman moving back around on lap 31. While this was happening, Schatz held a half lap lead over the field. With the lead in hand for Schatz, he easily cruised to the win, his 23rd on the season over Bell, Pittman, Brad Sweet, and Haudenschild completing the top five. Steve Kinser in his final appearance at Bloomington Speedway finished in the sixth position.
