The previously mentioned payouts beloware not comparable. These are apples and oranges. The Outlaw payout as mentioned is a midweek purse that is to accomodate the racers through the week and smaller promoters. This is scaled way back compared to a fully loaded USAC purse, which was posted.

The regular WoO purse is almost double in every position vs. USAC. Now compare the apples. Big difference.

A-Main
1. [$10,000];
2. [$5,500];
3. [$3,200];

Been out of the loop for a while...do both clubs have a nightly added pay-out to their top 10 or so in points (tow money)?

I think the Outlaws pay $500 to the top 10 for each event and $300 to the remaining members of the group. I think that's still accurate.

Tonight at the Terre Haute Action Track it is the Jim Hurtubise Classic. The USAC Racing AMSOIL INC. National Sprint Car Series takes to the historic 1/2 mile in what is SURE to be a great night of non-winged sprint car racing. UMP Modifieds will be accompanying the program. Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will be racing their Modifieds.

Wallace's plans changed after losing a motor last night. Getting a new 1 in now and racing close to home.
