When Dave gets back from out west we will decide how he wants to set this up and where to start sending it to him. Remember the small amount that we are trying to get per person means that we have to try to get everybody on board. It still takes alot of funds to do this so it takes alot of donors. I am working very hard to make this a reality for Dave.
Who ever is setting this up you might consider something like a kickstarter campaign where you offer incentives for certain dollar amounts. For example $10 for an autographed hero card, $30-$40 gets you an autographed shirt or a hat or something like that. Just thinking out loud.
I would rather put my money on a Du quoin Race and in a Bill Kimmel Jr. prepared race car. Dave shines on that big old dirt track and Jr. knows how to make em go around that place. Just another 1000 pounds or so to sling around.
What does a good ARCA rental deal cost now?
Put me down for $100.00 if you let me put a little "Running Man" decal someplace and you give me a receipt for my add.
Daytona ARCA ride runs from 40,000 for not great equipment up to 100000 for the top teams. Doing it all ourselves and hiring a top crew and top equip we think we can do it close to 50000. We ran springfield and duquoin for around 4000 each

Count me in for Double D at Big D.
I was at both the Springfield and Du Quoin ARCA shows this year. Just curious as to your car number?
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
