i might suggest that the kiss races be run on weds nites/ that way all the drivers will be free to race with no other tracks running and the motel rates will be cheaper. woud be nice if it paid a little more too, make it into a BIG DEAL and promote it, KING OF INDIANA SPRINT SERIES! run it all sumer long with a big high $$$ event in the fall

we're very fortunate to have an incredible bunch of racers who've assembled here from all over the country to race, lets give them a chance to do just that and for a just reward!

I agree with John... Baseball is played on every night of the week and ends at 11 pm. So why not run 5 special Kiss shows during the week with one support class and get it on and finish early. Sounds good to me... We would race all we could.

If you held an event that drew every sprint car team in Indiana, about how many cars would you have?

So far in 2013... there has been 130 sprint car drivers race in a feature. (Indiana only)

Only 65 of those drivers have raced a special show that pays over $2000 to win.

The Mopar Million race in 2001 or 2002 had roughly 140 cars and that race paid $200,000 to win and $10,000 to start.

And many of those teams (including the winner) were not regulars to non-wing sprint cars.

The issue with racing during the week is that many racers work through the week, and the vast majority of fans do too. Many already use vacation time for Indiana sprintweek, so crowds might be thinner than what they have running their regular nights.

KISS running on Thursday nights during the summer makes sense to me. 40 years ago I went to many mid week shows that drew 40+ cars/stars and good crowds. I am already scheduled for Kokomo this Sunday which means work early Monday morning. I am going to Midget Week on Wednesday in Gas City and work the next morning. I am going to Midget Week on Sunday in Kokomo and work the next morning. What's the big deal? We apparently are already supporting mid week shows. KISS can run 6 mid week races from May to August and the fans will plan to support those shows as the racing is some of the best in the USA! I guess this is why they make Red Bull, AMP, 5 Hour Energy, and Monster to name a few. WOW, racing five times a week...I think they called that the "Heyday of midget racing!". It can be done again with Indiana nw sprint car racing.

I kind of like this idea the best so far. Being centrally located as I am,I can easily make a race at the area tracks, and still make it to work. That would be a 4 day race weekend, always ok in my book For the traveling fans,it might make it more attractive to come out if a person could hit 4 races in a weekend.
