Sorry to hear that the turnout was so poor; in hindsight it would probably have been a good business decision for Joe Spiker to cancel. I hope he doesn't get discouraged and discontinue the Thursday night races, but the low car count last week and the extreme heat this week certainly aren't conducive to helping these races gain a solid, consistent following.
As Mowerman has already posted, a very nice gesture by the folks @ LPS to pass out bottled water.Really good Sprint Race between Boesflug,Cottle and throw in Shuman and Parker.
Nice to see some guys from the left coast already here.More to come?We can only hope.
To top that off at the end of the show during the sprint car feature they gave away the leftover food. Free food and $10 dollar show cant be topped. Hats off to Spiker for taking care of the fans that showed up tonight. This was my first Thursday night show but hopefully not my last.

I thought it was a pretty good gesture as well. You cant say they are not trying !
