Grandview - I think I'm just watching this one from the stands.

Big Diamond - Still waiting to hear on press credentials. They have already turned down just about everybody I have talked to. Even guys from SC&M magazine who shot last year's race.

Williams Grove - I am so there. :Steer

Hagerstown - I'll be shooting but given how they turned the track into pavement before getting a race car on the surface last year, I don't hold out much hope for any side by side action here. :headbang

Hope to run into you again Dwight. :thumb

YES, going back again this year with Pete & 'ole Dickie, and having RichH tag along too. Should be fun. Been looking forward to it!!:checkered:

Thank you Mr. Staaby for the USAC Eastern Swing!:thumb

Also FYI......from OpenWheelRacers.com
And this, too: During the first week of June, the USAC Sprint Cars will be having some races here in the east. The ARDC Midgets will also share some of the racing cards with the sprinters. The other day, I received this notice, about the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR).

"The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, normally only open on weekends, will be open on Wednesday, June 4th from 10AM to 4PM. This is the same day as the USAC race at Williams Grove Speedway. The museum is located in York Springs, PA about 18 miles from the track. The website for the museum is http://www.emmr.org/."

Yeah, you don't want to miss the EMMR tour if you've never been there. Not far down the road from Williams Grove off of route 15 south. Turn left (if coming from the north) at the sign for Lattimore Valey Fairgrounds.

How come a PA rollcall topic gets 23 posts so far but when i ask who might come to Wisconsin for some USAC midget races nobody answers except for Racegal and Dean Mills? What's the matter, don't you guys like cheese? I promised it wouldn't snow! :rolling

Nothing personal Tim, but after 5 races last week and going to PA, I just couldn't answer the bell. Ask again in August ,and I will be there.

You guys got it made being able to see 5 races in one week. I have only seen 2 races this year so far but we are going to Charter in Beaver Dam tonight. Hopefully we will draw a few midgets this way. I'll ask again in August and i know you will chime in. We will be bringing the skeeter spray again for you this year! :wink

I'll be at Grandview, Williams Grove, Big Diamond, and back to Williams Grove Friday.

The PR guy for Big D is a "Big D"

I am told that my information on Big-D and press credentials is most likely not correct. There are a few axes to grind in the PA racing photographers pool and it looks like the people who were telling me they had problems with Big Diamond were not completely truthful or accurate. My apologies to Big-D P/R if that has caused any concerns.

Should be a great. Now let's hope the weather man cooperates.
