Danny the chick that calls herself Irene is still causing havoc in many states with major flooding. A 100 mile stretch of the New York State Thruway is closed from Dewitt to Schenectady east bound and not saw far going westbound, the westbound side is closed fom Schenetady to Herkimer. Thru the closed stretch the chick called Irene has dealt a bad blow to a speedway, have seen pictures of the dirt track in Fonda, N. Y. Fonda Speedway under water. Areas of Vermont are even worse than N.Y.. Everyone stay save if your state has been effected by the chick called Irene.

I will do similar as you (lots of miles) 2hrs to LaSalle Friday, then 2 more to Angel Park and with the exception of Sunday will drive from Madison over to Kokomo for the Vince Osman memorial & a fireworks extravaganza to boot! Sure hope the gas prices drop some.
Really looking forward to the event at LaSalle. Always thought Powri would be running here before Usac.
