Usac said when they called it, your Sumar stub was good for the ISW race or the rescheduled Sumar 100. MY guess is to be in the fall?
If you claim to have the best interest of this sport at heart Remember this Jim Stovall quote;

“You need to be aware of what others are doing, applaud their efforts, acknowledge their successes, and encourage them in their pursuits. When we all help one another, everybody wins.”

It seems to me that part of the problem Sunday was with the truck that did a thousand laps on the action track. It had those tractor-style V tread tires. To me it left a lot of little ridges and grooves. In that hot sun, those little ridges dried out quick, and as soon as a race car hit them, they turned to powder. I was hoping the push trucks would keep working the track from the top down to pack it all flat. I've never prepared a track, so it is just speculation on my part. I think the Sprintweek race at night will be easier to prepare for.

I'm fairly sure they'll have the track right for the sprint week race. They know that their ass will be in a sling if it's bad again. One good thing too is that it will be a night race. You won't have the sun out in near as much duration to bake the track like it did on Sunday. Don't get me wrong, it looked and sounded like they royally screwed up with the prep by taking too much time to work it and let it dry. But, day races always result in excessive dust also. Some days are better than others, but I friggin hate day races regardless JMO. If my schedule actually allowed me to make it to that sprint week race, I would give it a shot.

Nice to see USAC staying away from this subject

guess I will stay away from the Action Track. Gas is expensive, along with admission. I am not that fond of dust.

USAC, what a bunch of retards

Staab did a better job

They will hopefully be racing by 9pm, sun it still out until 9:30. While it won't be a day race, I would venture to say most of the racing will happen in the sun light.

You very well may be right. But it won't be during the hottest time of the day. I don't know crap about track prep though either. Just what I think that I know lol. We're all experts when it's not us doing the work, right? Anyway, I really think they'll have their sh*t together for this one. There's a lot riding on this event now after what happened on Sunday. I like Lloyd's idea. Would be a late night though I'm thinking. Are they running any other classes that night?
