No the accident your thinking of was the young kid in the pure stock feature. He was fine. Randy is a Bomber driver who was involved in an accident in turn 4 coming to the white flag in the feature. He tangled with another car and spun and was hit from behind by another car. He did walk away but went to the hospital after becoming ill Monday morning.

Saw Randy at the hospital. Good news is the bleeding in his brain probably won't require surgery. They are giving him steroids to help his brain heal. He will be in the hospital for a while so the doctors can monitor his progress. They have said he has a good chance of recovery and will likely be able to return to racing next year. I showed him this page at the hospital and he was happy to see all the support he had received from the racing community. Thank you all for your prayers.

He'll probley be fine by the sounds of his latest prognosis, I'm shooting out all the good will thoughts I possibly can. That being said, I'm a atheist. Please dont hate cause of that. But I have no objection at all to tons of prayers and praying to god for him or anything else. To each there own, man I hope like all get out that his head dont end up like mine.

Today was not a good day for Randy. Nausea has gotten much worse. They are ordering another CT scan to see if his condition has gotten worse.
