Is that why Bobby wasn't at the race yesterday? Also why would someone spend all of the money that he claims to spend, on engines and equipment, to race for $1500 to win? If I had that kind of $$$ to spend, I would be running in a better paying series.

While he tells his guys they are his drivers, he often fires them before they have even ran 5 races. He has shown everyone that they do not want to race for this guy, because anything other than a win results in unneeded criticism and soon after being fired. Don thinks that money is all he needs to win, but that couldnt be further from the truth. While money is a larger factor, a team with no real leadership, confidence, or trust is really no team at all. His decisions are all based on what someone else says, and if you ask me Don is the one needing to find his balls. Just this year Don has let a few talented drivers go for absolutely no reason, and the more he does this, the more the quality of his drivers will decline, as well as his number of wins
Sorry for not knowing I was a ***** for not putting my name.
Heres a tip for you guys, find something else to do with your time rather than call people out for not putting there name, maybe you will actually get laid.

It is his car. He can hire and fire who he wants to when he wants to.

I dont think i ever claimed to be a historian dave...But Bostonians got it, The guys obviously an idiot, firing good drivers, overpaying bad ones, and breaking your equipment usually doesn't get ya far.
I am a bit confused, I have talked to Don in the past and he always came across to me as a guy who loves racing and spends his hard earned money supporting the sport he loves. He has several cars (teams) and has had Jason Blonde in his car for quite some time. I know Don loves the extreme series and seems to put his efforts into supporting that series by having full time team(s) and also having cars available to bring in one off "name" drivers to help build the interest in the series. I have a hard time seeing the issue with this.
A car owner expecting results ..... Isn't this what we want racing to get back to ? Owners hiring drivers based on their results ? There isn't a driver out there who hasn't been fired justified or not, The good ones use it as motivation to prove the owners wrong and in a lot of cases down the road end up back in the cars they were fired from.
I am trying to see the purpose in trashing a car owner....
