Consider it a consiensious decision not to wade through any more DA ****.
Bottom line is, DA still OWNS Twin Cities Speedway.

Wow nice people like the Fleetwoods are getting shafted by everyone because DA might make a dollar off of the concessions

Dan Hester is quite right DA does own Twin Cities BUT Mason & Tawnya Fleetwood
LEASE Twin Cities Raceway Park for several Thousand Dollars a season.

Dave Rudisell, promoter of Lawrenceburg was just looking out for the best interest of his wkly racers.
How can anyone condemn that?

DA does not have any direct link in this except for given Mason and I a chance to lease and promote a great facility.

I do not believe racing against Eldora and USAC is the purpose here. As stated before on a prior
post, the Sprint car count is big enough for everyone. With gas prices and everything else across the
board this may be a better option for some.

This is a heartfelt invite from Dave Rudisell and the Fleetwoods for drivers, fans, family and friends of
Sprint cars, Purestocks and Modifieds.

APRIL 5TH:
Grandstand Admission $10.00 / 12 & under Free w/ paid adult
Pit Pass $25.00

Chris,
Not trying to start a pissing match with you or anyone else. I am sure that the Fleetwood's are wonderful people. However, with that being said, I was taught early on in life that "if you associate with some people you can expect to pay the price". I am sorry to tell you that DA is making more than a buck or two off of the concessions. They pay a lease to him in order to promote that speedway. So a portion of everyone's money spent there goes directly to him.

I love Twin Cities and would love to be there for the show. However, after all of the problems and poor treatment from one man, I refuse to help put money in his pocket. Last year's Action Track fiasco was the final straw.

But they've already paid the lease. I don't like DA any more than the next person but Dave and the Fleetwoods are offering both racers and fans to see a sprint car race. As long as they do a good job and DA isn't yelling at everyone threatening to arrest them. I'll probably go.

Chuck,

I hope you and everyone who attends the race have an enjoyable experience. I hope the weather is warm, the beer is cold and the pits are loaded with race cars. It might just be the best race of 2008, but only time will tell. Enjoy.

I attended the USAC race at Twin Cities in '07, won by Brady Short as I recall. The Fleetwoods ran that show and IMO things could not have gone smoother for the fans or for the participants. The Fleetwoods were not just completely competent, they are really nice folks as well. Like Mike, Dan, and USAC and others, I won't be attending another event managed by the infamous DA. But, if it's a Fleetwood or Rudisell promotion I have no qualms about anteing up for a ticket/pit pass regardless of who owns the grounds. That said, I'm pointing to Eldora on the 5th and Gas City on the 19th. And that, sports fans, is my concern. Fans and many popular participants who might have been at Vernon may opt for the Big E and Gas City, not the other way around. I hope to see Twin Cities (my favorite sprint car venue) succeed. Maybe Fleetwoods, Bobby Wilson, and/or even Terry Eaglin (again) could buy out the ogre.

I understand what people are saying. However, if DA profits on any level, count me out. Paying a lease is profit for him. He will not receive another penny of profit from me. My ticket money wouldn’t go to him, but indirectly it would because he made money off the lease. The only thing I can say is watch out who you associate with. Good people or not. He might just treat you like crap in the end too.

I don’t want people to stay away. I hope those that want to go, do so. I hope the place is packed. I’m sure the show will be run just fine. Just saying for me personally, count me out if DA has any ties on any level. I’m done with him.

this is a great thing that Promoters work together. We will run there IF we can get our hauler into the grounds !!!!! The normal highway enterence is close, but you can go up on top of hill and turn down side road. You can also come in as normal from the south BUT if you have a hauler with a 50ft trailer i'm not sure you can make it> i know we can't make it from the north and i'm not sure we can bend at the bridge from the south. But we will try get there, even:thumb if i have to get an open trailer loaned to me.

Just wondering, what is the payoff going to be - same as regular payoff for a Lawrenceburg race? Also, is it an open tire rule, or same as MSCS and rest of Indiana? Thanks!
