I agree. As soon as you said it was an ASCT show I lost interest. Face it that series has just burned to many bridges with tracks, car owners and drivers.

Heck if you wanted a lower budget sanctioning body I would have called the MTS in MI. They would have brought 10-15 cars. They seem to growing their series pretty well.

why do they need a sactioning body? Most all of our races here in Indiana are ran without one. Don't know of any one involved with ASCT, but do know some people who are still waiting on some $$$ owed by them. If this track wishes to put on a first class Sprint car show then they don't need these guys. JMO Never heard of any track not paying advertised purse around here till ASCT since our good friend Mr. Allison.

Here in Illinois I know of only TWO non wing sprint races run without a sanctioning body this year.
Two nights at Tri City Speedway's Gold Crown Midget Nationals in October. This is TAXI CAB land!

The question that I have, how successful will this race be, with just 10 days of promotion. May be better off waiting until next year.
