When anywhere from 1000-1700 fans are camping the entire event, I don't think Attendance is a problem.

I remember Fishinman stating a burg race about four years ago where he counted less than 200 fans in the stands. I've seen no less than 1500 and ususally closer to 2500 since Rudy took over

I went to a couple LM races within the last few years at Brownstown and never had a problem. Its probably been 20 years since I went to a Jackson Nationals which ended at 6am in sunlight LOL. Even went to a WoO event back in the early 90s that Steve put on. Course I almost always get to a track before 3pm, The people, the atmosphere, Final track prep, hotlaps, Its all part of the event for me.

[/COLOR]I don't care were I have to sit as long as they race!I prefer the blanket policy over reserved. With the blanket policy your not stuck sitting beside someone you hate for the whole year or longer. When I spend 120 bucks for season reserved I'm not moving, I'm coping or fightingWith the blanket policy you just move up down or over the next week.

Some of you look at this as a one race deal.Over half the people in the grand stands go to that track every week, you think your inconvenienced think about them

I thought Brownstown cleared everything out after each race? I used to go quite often and dont remember anyone leaving a seat marked for the whole year, most just came early, maybe the day before the race to mark their seats.

IMO, tracks should not allow any seat saving until the scheduled time that the gates are supposed to open, whether it be 3:00 or 4:00. Stadium Seats should not be allowed in either, especially for Sprint Week races. They take up too much room and I usually have to sit with my kneecaps jammed into the back of somebody's chair. These two things would make for a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Chris,

Did you find out any info on the procedures to get a pit pass?

Thanks,
Sandy

Sandy I talked to Tim last night and he said it was all USAC's call on that. Give him a call at 812-569-1982 now if you want, hes at the track, or you can call him anytime tomorrow. Im pretty confused on the deal as well
