I for one do own both old and new style cars both being pavement cars, The money paid on the old cars was pretty sad, with the new cars the purse is much much better yes you do have to make the investment in the new car but sooner or later you have to replace your car.MY old style car cost me 42,000.00 when i bought it, My new gen sc car cost me 57,000.00.In my opinion the extra cost has been well spent.I know you can spend over a 100,000.00 on one of these new cars but I also Know of guys that have 70 to 80,000.00 in the old style cars.Racing has never been cheep and never will be. Its about the passion and challange of going fast.We as owners and drivers ask that the fans give it a chance watch the races you will see good close racing,We also do know you cant please everyone but a good honest look at the racing we put on will impress most. We have never had one person come up and say the racing was bad , they have all been very impressed.

If I want to watch "fat and ugly", I can go down to the WalMart or Target and see it for nothing any Sunday afternoon.
By the way..... who, exactly, is paying all of these big purses with nobody in the stands and what happens when they get tired of blowing all that money and back out.

when they first came out with those things, I happened to go up to Joe Devin's shop to buy some parts for our car and saw a stock car frame sitting there. I asked Joe "when did you get into the cab business?" He then told me it was a new SC car. I swear to god, It looked like a stock car chassis sitting on saw horses! You can darn near fit two seats in those things side-by-side.
PS......Amen Mac Miller!!!! LOL

Like I said you cant please everyone,Of the people bashing the new cars how many have been to a race and seen them run.I guess we could go back to drum breaks,no powersteering,no A/C,Am radio, and courdroy pants,But then again some would want to go on back to horse and buggies,The future is ahead of us its time to move on. Some will never take to the new cars and that is O.K the rest of us are going to move forward.I DO HAVE A HORSE AND BUGGIE FOR SALE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED.

From your posts, I kind of figured you had a horse around somewhere. How else could you spread it if you don't have it.

I'll drive it. I got some winged pavement sprintcar experience.
