Mr.Clauson and Slide22 commets were perfect. Personally I dont care if you like wings or not. I like both wing and non-wing. As a matter of fact myself and about 4 other friends are going to the Dickie Gaines at the burg this weekend. I just dont understand a knoxville national conversation and you have to interject negative comments during a positive conversation about sprint cars. Just not necessary. Personally we all should be promoting sprint car racing wing or non-wing as bad as the economy is right now.

This Saturday's race at Lawrenceburg is to honor DICK Gaines, not Dickie, Wingman. Come on now - Dick was a Knoxville Nationals champion so don't mistake it.

Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me!

That's better. I love all types of sprint car racing and agree with you that promotion of our sport needs to be done. I started out in sprint car racing with a wing. I really liked the wing racing back in the 80's and 90's. They just don't seem to put on the great shows like they used to with a lot of side by side racing and guys battling each other for position. There are nights when they still do, but it is the exception and not the rule anymore.

I apologize if you felt I hijacked the thread with negative comments. Come find me at the burg on Saturday and we can have a better conversation. I'm work on the 2 car.
