Real simple. Because USAC, POWRi, BMARA and Rocky Mountain allow it and at least a couple of these orgs ( two of them are for profit) are being paid $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to keep these engines going. At least two of these orgs are on life support right now, one of them with 6 to 9 cars showing for a race. It's all about the money, guys. Get it??

As much as I will enjoy watching the sprints at THAT September 12th, I was really looking forward to seeing the midgets race there again. I saw my first midget race at THAT and it made quite an impression on me.
