Doesn't seem as if many from the indiana, ohio area are going to osky or knoxville. I'm curious as to why not....To far of a distance and the chance of a rain out, can't get time off from work, too costly with the travel and motel rooms, or broke from all of the money spent during indiana sprint week...just wondering.

Lack of vacation time for me. I am planning on doing the TNT races the week after Knoxville/Osky.

(More races to see, plus 1 new track)

I'd say all four, plus the chance at seeing a good surface and car count @ Knoxville is about 10%

Car count on another board doesn't look too shabby, this doesn't include the half dozen local guys(Iowa) who say they're running.Track might stand a chance, the 305's are the other class and they're not that hard on the track.Weather looks great.

I think the little diner you are talking about is Wes Family Cafe. Last year the place was closed and it did not look like it was for remodeling. Too bad it was a good place to eat right before the races.

Since we're talking food here,my fave place when I am out that way is Kinfolks in Attica. Its right off Route 5 south of Knoxville. Attica is a very 1 horse town, with a population of about 10 hampsters,16 dogs,7 cats 34 squirrels,35 deer, 5 year round citizens, and Kinfolks Restaurant.

If you miss finding Kinfolks while cruising the Attica strip, then you might be in need of a seeing eye dog.

Duke, I never knew you were such a gourmet. I had forgotten the name of the bakery, but once again you are right on the money. Great baked goods. You really should stop in at least once, if not every day.

DUD...I bet your old car owners wish you had spent as much time on how to go fast than to how to get fat.
