Could some of you be looking at a different map site? Microsofts live local for me had haulers in the back and cars behind them. What does the place look like flooded besides it being full of water (I seen it when construction was going on and it was flooded).

The map you are looking at is the old quarter mile config. The new track does not look round and has a wall all the way around the track. The infield has grass and a helo pad. This is opening night and a USAC event, I would strongly suggest since you are already in town to make this show. Sleep? I thought you had do be an old man to worry about when and where to sleep.

Rest area Batesville Ohio. Get a couple hours and complete the two hour drive home.

KI is going to be swamped. Even if there wasn't a race Id be out of there by 2pm

I am not going to L'burg this weekend. But I did just put a new map page on my site. I just started to use Virtual earth, and they show haulers, where as Google Maps show a flood.

If you play around a little you can get aerial/satellite views from both sites as a split screen. Click on the track, in the menu on the left, and on the pop up comes up, you can turn on virtual earth. Let me know what you think.

Anybody know why Westfall competed in the Mods at Eldora and not the sprints? Just got a ride I suppose?
Matts a runner at the Burg when he races. Seen a 18th for second last year from him.

Coleman Gullick was flat out hooked up the last third of last year with a win and another he was challenging when disaster struck. Watch out for the ICEMAN.

DD was a front runner everytime out last year.

It will be interesting and exciting. Don't worry bout the rain. Worry about the River.

Concerning Moffatt....... don't count your chickens before they hatch, Chuck. I am not speaking on his behalf but after a few trips to Bill and Joss's sprawling shop (it is sprawling, right Joss?? :wink) he is not committed to run anywhere this weekend yet. Maybe he will get on here and post his plans or let me know so I can pass it along.

Concerning Westfall... I talked to him before hot laps and all he said he wanted to run the mod. Again maybe Matt can come on and say what the scoop was. He has had good runs at the Burg and it would be great to see him run there if he chooses to do so.

That silly forecast keeps a changing. Kyle told me on Yahoo the other day..... Only meteorologists and baseball players can get it right 30% of the time and be classified as doing a GOOD JOB!!!!
