Well thanks again, Mark Wilson. And the Wilsons are some of the nicest people in the racing business, for sure!

If it were the old way..then someone would end up screwed by getting spun on purpose.

Indoor racing is tough and comes with contact. It is very easy to gain positions by simply pushing and shoving your way through. The rule of getting your spot back if determined to be deliberately spun out has been in force for the five years that I’ve been the race director and until this year was accepted – not sure why folks are up in arms this year. I can go back to the old way, but then the demolition derby will begin and he who has the biggest and strongest bumper will win.
So Darland wrecked someone on purpose?

Tony you deffinatly did the right thing . 4 days of raceing that close together is the max. It just stood out in my mind how great the track was on night number 2. One year it would be neat to see how racing would be on the 3rd night.

one question for you tony, was the track a little bit bigger this year? seams like last year qualifing times were mor in the 7's than the 8's. just looked like the track was a little bit bigger. Keep upp the good work, to bad there are no shows in Jan. :checkered:

The bus...

I mentioned I am not going to revisit each call made. I do stand by my officials and scorers...who have great experience..I will look at the video closely to check on what you are saying. I was getting the payout ready, etc. at the time. I have decided to post on this thread not to argue, but explain.

In regard to the track size..I did not measure it this year..but it seemed Larry Boos had the tires out farther on the turns.

I am going to step out of this thread..

Lets all have a great New Year

It might be that the fastest cars (the Volkswagens) were not given a tire advantage this year.

the track was a bit longer, by about 10-15 feet on the straightaways. last years lap times were around 7.5-7.8 this year was around 7.9-8.2

Im Joltin Joe Liguori and i approve this message.

Who is this you are speaking of? I am not trying to get a pissing/flaming/attack session going on but would like for you to elaborate (that means give details) as to who that is.

I wasn't there at the Rumble to see what you are talking about.

Oh I mean no disrespect or anything towards you or any of the officials. We were even saying through both nights of racing we didn't agree with the rule, but as long as it was consistent, then we were fine with it. But it just seemed that for the heats and everything it was, but yet in the features it was not. I'm not saying favoritism or anything of the sort, was just wondering what the explanation was.
