Back on topic... A guy I work with is an old friend of Stevie and used to fly him to the races when he was still in open wheel. I forwarded the link to him as he hadn't heard the news yet. He was going to call Stevie and find out where he might land.

Class act all the way, and never hear a bad thing about him. I do have to say though, I don't like the radio deal. All you need is a one way radio for race control, safety only.

Also no radios on anything that runs on dirt, heck might as well put a rearview mirror on.

Absolutely! Mirrors are cheaper, more accurate, instantaneous and can give you much better "blocking information" than any "goof on the roof"............. but, be careful......
