I wish they would run the modified show after the sprints and midgets.

I'm guessing you are referring to the 10 lap B Main? Because they ran the A main Modified after the Sprints. Yes there were 43 B Mods that took some time to run the heats, but at least they broke them up between the midgets and sprints. Overall a very efficient and well ran race by USAC and Track. Very little down time between races.
