V-6's are great if they have a weight advantage, but todays cars aren't what they where 10-15 years ago. Every car is fairly L/W today.

Sure a good running V-6 would be great on a dry-slickie, but besides Paragon we don't see smooth slickies much anymore.

V-6's are like most engines. They are great until they are on kill all of the time, then they get tempermental. The racing around here today just isn't the same as the early-mid 90's and the competition is much, much better.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't like to see one and I am not saying that on the right night it couldn't win, but I don't believe on a consistant basis.
