Grant side swiped the wall in three and four on the first lap of the feature, While gathering it up and coming off the wall another car smacked his LF and looked like it broke his drag link as he made a sharp left towards the inside wall. Don't think cars too aweful bad, But rules only allow changing a RR so no time to make repairs and restart.
While the Winged features were good even with Rico starting 7th or so and winning. It was good. There was more passing in any one of them NW heats than the entire 7 winged heats. Congrats TMEZ, And Magic Man Mike Miller on their triumphs. Dustin Smith hard fought up to a possition that might have saved his championship run only to have two spots called back due to a yellow on the lap he passed them two cars. He was never able to overcome that deficit as theyw ere racing three wide in front of him and Miller finished with six cars between himself and Smith. Great night all around, The only highlight I can remember from the Winged heats is somehow Danny Smith screwed a pole start up and fell to six or seventh and somehow finished fifth to transfer.

That wasnt danny smith. He broke an axle and wrecked. Tyler Courtney was driving smiths second car and started on pole and fell back and due to danny smith wrecking transferred into feature

Like I said, I enjoyed the Winged features, Just a shame you gotta watch 8 laps of a one lap heat race because once a laps in, there is no passing. Dude sitting behind me was from Kokomo and was there for the winged racing. Was also rooting for Dale Blaney, I was rooting for Rico and Bell.
Loved every single one of the BOSS races. You can barely get 20 cars for a usac show and the lowest they've had in four shows is 33 6 heats transferring three, 2 consi's transferring three and a great feature throwing rooster tails off what tiny cushion was left. PRICELESS! Makes me wonder if USAC's problems aren't RULES, FEES and qualifying. Yeah, There were some much faster cars there than others and they started on the tail of their heats and won. Oh well, that is what that is, and USAC has it's highlightsand good things as well. Hope everyone that went, Had a great time. I did, But I've suffered all day today due to sinus headache, Dude behind me was smart enough to bring a scarf to cover his mouth and nose. Still blowing dirt, It was dusty, But not bad like last years and last years four crown. Track stayed pretty good all night.

Too bad there were surprisingly many part time race fans that didn't know how to sit down when racing was going on! My Mom has taped 90% of my races for over 20 years and this was the worst she has ever dealt with! Even selling Popcorn in the stands now, Wow! Everyone knows where the concession stands are! The 2013 Sprintacular wasn't like this at all! Don't know what brought in the rif raf! If new fans come to the track, they need to be considerate of those who want to watch the races!

I bought popcorn from a vendor. Except for Red flags and one short wheel pack and the opening ceremonies, There were cars on the track 100% of the time from the first heat, To the last feature lap. Oh and about a three minute interview after the first two features.
I didn''t have the problem of people standing as I sat down near the roof poles. But I imagine people were cold. Last year wasn't

If I wanted to warm up, which was rare as a kid, I went back by the concession area. All I'm saying is people should be considerate of others that want to watch the show, even if they don't.
