Late reply here, but just wanted to add in that it was a great feature at Gas City Friday night. After Chad Boesplug's heat race I thought he looked racy, and I had a good feeling he would win. I told Funk on the first yellow, that I thought Chad would be the one to beat, despite Cottle running right up there with him in the early to middle of the race. After Chad got the lead there was no looking back for him,and he went on to a pretty size able lead. He got that lead though by running both the top and the bottom,so there were 2 raceable grooves to race on.
I thought that it was one of the best races I have seen at Gas City in awhile. Very racy track despite all the wind they had,and no dust. I hope they have a similar track this Friday night!
