What I don't get is... Every time there is a "disruption" that causes production to go down (many times it's the companies own fault), EVERY cent of that is passed on to the customer. How about the company eating some of that cost one time? Especially given their profit margins in the last 10 years... I think you have a little in the bank....

Gas was as low as $3.15.9 @ Sevierville, TN on Monday morning. Monday evening we saw $3.99.9 in Indy, and then $4.09.9 in Bloomington, IL by Tuesday morning! I managed to fill up at a Slick and Greasy at $3.62.9 early Tuesday before they matched all of the other stations -- 47 cents per gallon less than a Freedom station a block away
I really need to quit but I am going to a couple POWRi midget races this weekend.

Reading the info on this website about made me bang my head against a wall. There is absolutely no legitimate reason that Indiana should have the fourth highest average gas price amongst all 50 states. In fact, it must be some sort of Midwest or political bias against us here because Illinois and Michigan are two of the states with higher averages than Indiana with Hawaii being No. 1. We're even more expensive then California. Reading the message boards and articles passed along on the site about how the stockpiles increase, but the prices continue to rise as we ship fuel to other countries makes me ill. What I love is the fact that the mileage I get paid at work (25 cents per mile) is only five more cents than when I started over a decade ago. *sarcasm alert* I'm pretty sure gas prices were only a few cents cheaper back in 2001 compared to now, lol.
