Would think racing around 2. That way people who stayed the extra day can still get on the road home early. Kokomo would have no problem with a day show, with their great track prep. Also small chance of rain Sunday night.

Too bad the weather isn't cooperating, but then again, like someone said, it IS April.
The Sunday Kokomo date/time also throws a wrench into anyone who was originally planning on the Kokomo GP being Friday & Saturday and then the Glen Niebel Classic at Anderson on Sunday Afternoon. I just hope someone can get SOMETHING in this weekend. April is a tough outdoor month. |

Jill put a pic up on instagram and the whole infield is underwater. Lot of work to do before Saturday.

I was just by the track, and I think Sat is going to take some luck. The ditch out front and all the grass in the front lot are underwater. Some areas 6 to 8 inches deep. I feel for people who made plans, but you can't control the weather. They were running pumps while Iwas there, and it is still raining pretty steady.

Yeah I drove by after work at 8 and all I can say is the parking lot is almost completely under water and its still raining steady I don't know if they'll even be able to pump the water out by Sunday. Hopefully we can get at least one day of midget racing in but right now its a long shot.

Thanks for the info Mr. Funk and BrandonT30. Us cheeeheads are choosing to not make the trip. I hate to give up on it but Saturday might be in question and Sunday creates a bigger problem for us. Not able to get vacation Monday or even Sunday night for my buddy Ted who works 3rd shift Sunday night. I hate to miss it since i love midgets (and i am a midget) but it won't work. Midget week is planned for us hitting 4 out of 5 nights, just skipping Gas City. However, in place of this trip to make it up we are thinking of hitting the USAC sprint races at Gas City and Putnamville in 2 weeks.
