In fairness to Bill I asked him about this scheduling conflict around 6 weeks ago and he told me that Waynesfield was supposed to have removed the date from their schedule. Not sure why they didn't update their website information.

I have heard that one definition of a good diplomat is, someone that could tell you to "go to hell" in such a nice way, that you would look forward to making the trip,
The Aug. date for the MMSA at waynesfield was contingent upon a date at Limaland the nite before,in an attempt to revive "Mini Sprint mania" It became a fact that this was not happening shortly after our May race at Waynesfield, at that time I spoke with Greg Shobe to remove the MMSA from the schedule, we had a lengethy discussion about the benefit of an outside sanction group to mini sprints at waynesfield, their car count is comparable to the MMSA without a pill draw fee, the payout is about the same, some of the regulars stayed home when an outside group came in, Waynesfield mini sprints are successful without the MMSA and I hope they continue to be. I told Greg the MMSA was always pleased with our treatment at waynesfield, He expressed no dissatfaction with the MMSA to me.
The track had a change in operating personnel and apparently, somehow, the schedule was not revised.
The date at Twin Cities was available and I accepted it, so now both tracks, approx. 150 miles apart, are racing, more cars will receive a payout, I fail to see a real conflict, which brings us back to my first statement. I will skip the "Diplomacy" and just say, Some posters on this thread, "Don't know what the hell they are talking about".

Bill May you would make a great Ambassador to the UN. I think that was very diplomatic. I Hope you got your point across.

We got home and everything seemed to be Ok, hope to be there with bells on.

Wish that would have worked out with Lima and Waynesfield. Would have been a great weekend of racing.

Did anyone look at the gas pumps. The price of gas has taken traveling very far away for many a team.

Mason's dad usually has several barrels there, by the barrel or by the gallon. Bob
