Like others there, We were just hoping for two heats worth of cars to come. Was impressed that 15 of the two weeks ago guys showed and put on a heck of a good night of racing for the fans.

First feature was on a great two groove track. TMez took off but by lap 18 Gulick and Amazingly CJ Leary who was shot from a rocket in this race were all over him at the finish. Could have thrown a blanket on TMez and Gulick. TMez in victory lane, "The owner says we need a new hauler, I say we need a big motor, I could hear Coleman Screaming behind me as we crossed the line."

Mod one Feature was one by Doug Adkins over Kramer in the 77777777 race that started with cars 7,77,7,7, and 07

Three Sprint heats, Three Mod Heats and three Hornet Heats on a excellent track.

The Sprint Feature Gulick grabbed the lead about lap 7 and was pretty comfortably leading on a track that the cushion had pushed to the wall. After about a lap 17 yellow and after the restart Chad seemed actually a bit faster than Coleman and ran him down about lap 22. It was just the way and times they ran up on traffic that alowed Coleman to pull away on the final two laps however with a scary looking slide job in two on the final lap that Coleman put on a lapper. It apeared he was going to slam the wall. Thank God he gathered it up and gassed it off the cushion to cruise in for the win.

Mod feature two Kramer was on a Kruze to the win over very fast and first feature winner Adkins.

Hornet Feature action featured tow cars flipping, one that flipped about four times. Neither were hurt but later a car that had sideswiped the wall three times in one lap hit it head on and got out with some neck/back pain. Hope everyone is ok. Perhaps the no bump drafting rule????

Thanks to Rudy, His Crew, Budweiser and the Killer B's for a great evening.

Next up King of Indiana Sprints! The last two i've seen, Terre Haute and Gas City have been Barn Burner don't miss action and competitors!

Just wanted to add a few things. Congrats to TMez and Coleman on their wins.

Something at this track that you notice is Amazing, You'll see guys race 5-10-25 times and they'll be missing just that two tenths and when they find it, You know it instantly and its a joy to watch. I don't know what it is, The killer setup, Comfort level with the car or track or both. but when they find it, its like a switch went off and you say, Where did that come from? WOW. I know its not all motor either as some lower budget teams are very fast quite often, Westerfeld, Moffatt, Fischesser at times, Hupp, Soudrette, Miller and even Boespflug.

Last nights found its! Were, Leary, who given the extra five laps a normal feature would run may have taken that first feature. Bilbee, who just stayed fast all night and Burdette who hasn't raced as much here lately but found what he'd lost in only his second week back and Jordan Kinser, Who ran well! Quite impressive!

Special thanks to Joey Kramer for getting his pill draw kid in victory lane and giving him his trophy and some victory lane photos. Thats they type stuff that fills the stands for years to come and raises purses and even puts the thought in mind that they might want to be a racer someday. BRAVO!

Anyways, Just wanted to thank the teams again and putting on a good show, The crowd was good, The weather held up and it was a great evening with family and friends.
