I think this whole story is about being American.

Now, you might think Toyota is American as apple pie, but
I got a feeling their are some Americans that are big and powerful
and they feel being American is about buying a Cheveroet
on Monday and racing one on Sunday.

Now, that being said, Indy cars do not have American Engines in them, but that could change and will. It's only a matter of time and things
changes pretty quickly when things get deperate. We are in desperate
times if you are not aware of it...lol! Just kidding, as my peers would say.

So I see Tony goin' to a team that fields Chevrolets, but it is an Amerian ideal and dream. And if I was American, not only would
I buy American I would own American and drive American.

And hence you say Toyota is American there are quite a few
people who get quite angry when you make those statements.

Careful what you say, some people don't believe, want to believe
it or want to hear it.

Sincerely,

Larry Otani...I am an American, although I may not look it. :kookoo

I think it's nice to see him get some well deserved attention. He's a great all-around driver. I would like to see him race in the IRL under Bob Tezak's UNO team. Now that would rock.

Here is a more Likely thought. Somebody starts a Rumor, true or not but one that Tony can disclaim easy enough. People here and elsewhere make a lot of noise. I don;t think Tony is about to leave Gibbs Racing. In fact I think they would go to Great lengths to keep him and that he would do the same to stay. I do think that if people make enough noise, Toyota will Step Up Big at the Big E and at TSR. TSR running the Bowtie has got to be a sore spot for Toyota, especially with Toyota steping up with USAC.... Just my thoughts, not that they make much sense..... Way to behind on Sleepppppp....
