That was just a heck of a finish!! At our angle, from the lawn chairs in turn one, you really didn't know who had won until Kimb Stewart announced it. Three laps before the checkered, Stines appeared to be cruising to a victory, as he had what looked like an insurmountable lead. By the time they were on the backstretch of the two-to-go lap Brady had halved the margin. Then, coming off of four on the final lap, it looked for sure that he had pulled off the come from behind, last lap win. But Bobby launched off of turn four better than he had in quite a few laps, to pull it out. Although you couldn't tell from where we were sitting. It was just that close.
The track was great all night. It was fast and open for racing, from bottom to top. And Short and Braylon Fitzpatrick wasted no time in putting them selves in position to contend, from thier 10th and 13th starting positions. But Bobby Stines was super fast from the first lap of his heat race, till late in the feature and ultimately was just too hard to chase down. Congrats to him. It's always a really popular win, when he is the victor there. Jerry

Congrats to Bobby on getting the win! Few race teams put the kind of effort into fabricating their own equipment like the Stines family does. I think that's super cool.
And does anyone know why Holtsclaw wasn't running last night? Posted via Mobile Device |

I spoke to a family friend of the Holtsclaw's and he said their frame got bent in the crash at Haubstadt last week.
