Is that why Bobby wasn't at the race yesterday? Also why would someone spend all of the money that he claims to spend, on engines and equipment, to race for $1500 to win? If I had that kind of $$$ to spend, I would be running in a better paying series.

I dont think i ever claimed to be a historian dave...But Bostonians got it, The guys obviously an idiot, firing good drivers, overpaying bad ones, and breaking your equipment usually doesn't get ya far.

I am a bit confused, I have talked to Don in the past and he always came across to me as a guy who loves racing and spends his hard earned money supporting the sport he loves. He has several cars (teams) and has had Jason Blonde in his car for quite some time. I know Don loves the extreme series and seems to put his efforts into supporting that series by having full time team(s) and also having cars available to bring in one off "name" drivers to help build the interest in the series. I have a hard time seeing the issue with this.
A car owner expecting results ..... Isn't this what we want racing to get back to ? Owners hiring drivers based on their results ? There isn't a driver out there who hasn't been fired justified or not, The good ones use it as motivation to prove the owners wrong and in a lot of cases down the road end up back in the cars they were fired from. I am trying to see the purpose in trashing a car owner....
