The AMSA allows 1200s.

From their rule book:

Motor
The motor must be a 4-cycle motorcycle engine with 1205cc maximum

Car and Driver Weight:

The weight of the car at the conclusion of any race must meet one of the following requirements:

Stock 1000cc--stock, bore, and stroke on GAS must be a minimum of 900 lbs car and driver.

Stock 1000cc--stock, bore, and stroke on ALCOHOL must be a minimum of 970 lbs car and driver.

Anything else up to 1205 must weigh a minimum of 1040 lbs car and driver

THIS WEEKEND Sat May 7th We will NOT be running the 1000 / 1200cc Mini Sprints at 35 Raceway, we are setting up a race with sponserships for Sat May 28th and hope to run this class on a weekly basis and will continue to run the 600cc class if we have the support.
these are the tenitive rules:
1000cc, 1200cc, and 600cc up right Mini Sprints all cars with driver must weight 900 lbs
(except 600cc there is no minimum weight when running in the 1000 / 1200cc class)
All 4 corners on Hoosier tires,
Must run a muffler with 85 max dba @ 100 feet
(we will advise soon what mufflers will meet this requirement)
Racecievers required
all are welcome to race no matter who you are afilliated with, we will update this post soon.

Sat May 28th Ohio Lightning Sprint Challange will be Hosted by 35 Raceway Park Frankfort, Ohio featuring the 1000 / 1200cc Lightning Sprint's (Mini Sprints)

Rules:
1000cc, 1200cc, and 600cc upright Winged Mini Sprints all cars with driver must weight 900 lbs
(except 750cc or less there is no minimum weight when running in the 1000 / 1200cc class)
All 4 corners on Hoosier tires,
Must run a muffler with 85 max dba @ 100 feet mandatory to compete
(the following mufflers have met the requirement if they are not burnt out or tampered with, Henchcraft/Rosson, Viper, S&S, and AutoZone #27657)
Racecievers required.
No Entry Fee.
Pit Pass $25.00 competitor license $5.00 for 1 night or $20.00 for season (this will be a weekly class after may 28th
(Gates open at 3:00, warm ups at 4:00, drivers meeting at 5:00, signup and draw close at 5:30, racing at 6:30.
Guaranteed Purse $600.00 to win 60 to start ,1st Place Trophy.
format Pill draw for start of heat races top 2 or 3 in each heat (depending on number of heat races) redraw for front of feature line up .
