They ran 100" cars with square tanks from the late 60s up to the early 80s here in ks ok and tx. Kville nats had em when that first started too.

I remember when if you had a pointed sprint tail tank you had to tape a box or something on it to run at the Missouri State Fair for the State Supermodified Championchip.
I also remember Bill Utz having a car he could transform back and forth depending on whether he was running as a sprint or supermodified I beleive. |

That is Dylan Peterson. He runs at Rock Rapids, Iowa every Friday night. It is also a non downtube Wolfweld chasis.

Thanx for posting that tim. I was gonna say the old ewsc super modifieds had square tanks on them. I belive they were basically sprint cars with a transmission.
