Besides, most of us are going to post about racing anyway... whats wrong with an occasional off-topic post??
The great OZ has spoken. :respect: So does this make the poll null and void? Hope everyone is having a nice day.

Jerry & others, I posted the poll out my own curiousity. I know there are others that are equally as curious as to what the membership feels on these topics. I would imagine that Bill would have made a more scientific poll. He can make it null and void by deleting it any time he wants to.

This started as Bill's board and will always be Bill's as far as I am concerned. Sorry if anyone felt this was totally official on my part, just having fun as we all try to do.:icon_smile_blackeye

Thank you, I was not sure if the poll was going to be the deciding factor or not. That is the nice thing about this site we can do just about anything we want. (within reason) No need to be sorry as I am sure no one was offended, It is interesting to see how people feel. Can you start a poll to see if I am the only one that likes warm Budweiser? :rolling

Mark, absolutely no reason for you to apologize! I posted my thoughts on the "Off-topic" related posts strictly as a reader.

As the admin, I understand and appreciate everyone's opinion about the matter.... It is always nice to know how people feel about certain issues. I just don't feel that there are enough "off-topic" posts to create an entire new section of the message board that essentially would be just for filtering off-topic discussions. The original intent of the message board was to "center" most of the information around Indiana Sprint Car & Midget racing and then also allow a little other variety in content. So far, I think that method has worked pretty good.

Bill comparing you to OZ was a complement, after all you are the man behind the curtain that makes all the magic on this board. :respect:
