I think I might have to get used to her being around here, though. She's American, runs on ethanol, faster than silver crowns and has let herself be photographed practically naked wearing hardly anything but a USAC sticker! The nerve! I heard she even gets to hang out with the Silver Crowns in Iowa with this weekend. Sigh.

We'll see how long she lasts, though. I'm not gonna hate on her since she's too good for the dirt track anyway and that's where I like to be. I will give her this much - at least she's not wearing a wing

I know there's not much in the pic to compare it to, but is that really as big as a Silver Crown car? It doesn't look like it has an 8 foot wheelbase.

It looks more like a bumper car you see at the fair!

You sound like me when I was a little girl and didn't like Bobby Rahal because he wasn't as cute as Danny Sullivan. Do you like unicorns too? Seriously, what is up with a critique based solely on looks? Is that really all ya got?

Yeah its the same size wheel wise as a traditional silver crown car. I think it looks a little better in person up close than the picture shows but I'm still not a fan.

I too saw it at Milwaukee and think it is pretty in two ways:
1. It's pretty ugly!:2:
2. It's pretty apt to stay that way!

The Gold Crown car will be its own series. The silver crown car will stay the same.

This car and series is Bruce Ashmore's baby, not USAC.
