Your most welcome. I still might try and make a race tonight. just depends on how Im feeling, Im in more pain than at any time since the surgery but things seem to be healing and swelling going down The pain I can deal with. Had sort of the same thing happen last but between the two leaders Gullick and Ballou. They both went for same spot. Ballou flipped but Gullick continued. No foul intended just $*#@ happens

Chuck, thanks for doing updates. I am sure that the folks stuck at home appreciate it. Thoughts and prayers for you and we hope to see you back at the track real soon.
Thanks! Yes, cooler days and some clouds can help a track, program and racing quality a lot. In that case prep guys actually have to worry about getting it too wet or to much moister coming up during the night

You're welcome. I bet I have a hunch who that birdie was.

And yes, I had a very good time. Made much better that I didn't lose the bet at the end of the night. By the way, I wasn't associated in any way with that guy walking in front of the crowd after the sprint feature. :2:

This is my 6th summer living in Indiana and that was the best Gas City surface my eyes have EVER seen. Call it cloud cover, no wind, low temps, extra water, ect. It had a cushion at each end, it was wicked fast around the top, and Tracy Hines was passing low from the tail to 5th. It was a true hammerdown "ruts and guts" nonwing sprint car track. I am happy I witnessed it. Hope to see many more nights just like it!

That is the type of track Gas City used to have all of the time. I hope that it is once again back like this for most of the shows. Time will tell. Also, thanks for all of the great coverage you give to the open wheel racers. I enjoy them and look forward to the next installment.

The highlights would have been better had I bought a new right rear before the feature. And thanks to a fan (new friend ) we will have a new one on for Sunday night, if we race cars and not boats.
