But there is a difference on a racetrack that you are going 60 or 70 mph versus 120 or 130mph. When Critter Malone flipped on the front straight at Terre Haute because the rear of the car starting bouncing so much, that it literally bucked the rear over the front, I dont think the track should be raced on. But again, that is not the issue with Dodge Co.

My comment about steel blocks, I generalized a bit. If Im running a steel block with a budget minded series, I probably dont have the latest and greatest parts in my steel block engine. If I wanted that, Id probably be running an aluminum engine. Again, Im generalizing and theres always an exception.

I do appreciate everyones views and support. I also enjoy posts when nobody takes it personal and you can have civil debates or discussions. I dont ever expect everyone to agree with me, I just like to share a drivers perspective. I know not all drivers agree with me on views as well.

I have seen many races at Dodge County and i must say i was hugely surprised when i seen this show scheduled. I agree 100% with everything Coondog said. Track prep has been good, smooth all the way around, just not really a lay out condusive for non wing sprints. If the turns were banked a bit more you could "float" the car just like Jerry said. Big time speed on the long straits but in close traffic with other cars the corners can get scary. Hopefully the ASCT car count is good cause normally Wisconsin has good showings from local drivers for other sprint and midget shows but i just can't see many guys wanting to try this one? I think it would have been cool if they tried this show at Beaver Dam Raceway.

Kinda reminds me of the old Granite City 1/2 mile.(except the lighting is better)
