SUPERDUKE,

Thanks, it is always a good time talking to Wally Pankratz.

Jerry Blundy, a favorite of mine ever since I moved to the Midwest back in 1970.

Here are a few ex USACers I see from time to time, here and there.
A few photos from my collection below by Midwest Connection
Rich - Arnold, Missouri

Art Braithwaite - deceased. I submit this photo of Art, because he was a good friend. A person in the racing business I truly miss.

Ah yes, a longtime favorite, Jack Hewitt

Don Friend - another USAC open wheeler I enjoy chatting with.

John Tenney

Gary Fedewa and Gary Hollis

"Pancho" Carter

Bobby Unser - 1966 another favorite USAC sprint car driver from years gone by.

Mario Andretti 1966 - a USAC sprint car "Hot Shoe" if there was ever one.

Bentley Warren - a longtime favorite and still racing in 2010 aboard a supermodified

Bob Seelman

SUPERDUKE,

Maybe just maybe, you all can climb aboard a sprinter that is there, and do a lap or two, maybe quite a few. If anything else just wishfull thinking, but it sure would be an historical tribute. A tribute to all of the drivers who are there signing autographs - open wheel veterans, champions and legends by all means.

Gary Bettenhausen and Larry Dickson

You mentioned two Steve's initially - would one of them be Steve Chassey?

And Jimmy - is that possibly Jimmy Sills?

Are Kenny Schrader, A.J. Foyt, Johnny Rutherford possibly going to be there?

How about "Ziggy" Snider?

Maybe Tom Bigelow and Mel Kenyon will stop by DuQuoin next Saturday for the POWRi midgets, I certainly hope so anyway.

Have a good day...see you at the races
