My point is it still can be done. If a last turn, last lap pass doesn't make you happy, nothing will!!!

You don't like passing? (probably all those years of watching them zip by)

Put whatever twist on it you like; it's pretty certain you're right and the rest of the world is screwed up.

Again, if a last turn, last lap pass isn't what racing is all about, NOTHING WILL MAKE A BITTER OLD MAN HAPPY!!!!

By the way, your icons really are a comedy.

I hate those black slick race tracks. And, I love it when a winner pulls into victory circle and is covered with dirt from head to toe. You know he's earned his win!

Seems like the winners now days jump out of their cars and all they want to do is dance on top of the car or climp the fence and they look like choir boyz.

I have several hours of color footage available to me at any time at my home, (shot by my dad) of stock cars, supermodifieds, USAC sprint cars, and winged sprint cars, from New Bremen, Tri-County, Limaland, and Eldora. 99% of the footage was shot from the infield, and is from the early 60's to the mid 70's. Included is the crash/death of Allen Crowe, Chuck Hulse's crash at Bremen (starting with Mario hitting Wente), and Rutherford going over at Eldora. (and in the footage from the paved tracks...Herk going over the wall at Dayton, and Snider going over at Winchester)

Also, if I ask, dad will get out the projector, and show -hours and hours- of black and white footage, from the 50's...of the Championship Cars.

All of the footage was shot during the day time.

There is VERY MINIMAL DUST at all! Unless somebody got way high, there is no dust....nothing like the rolling dust fog of the 4 Crown a few years ago (which was all night long).

And there is no black/rock hard crap either.

Cars were running 2-3 wide. Plus the grandstands were FULL
