www.trackforum.com has both an off-topic and current events section. I avoid the CE section like a plague...or a sewer.

At the other end TF.com has a great Nostalgia message board where you can learn a bit. Especially when mac miller cranks it up.

One of the karting forum"s has a off topic section and it gets kind of interesting at times

Since being advised to leave TF, the nostalgia board and the short track board are the only ones I miss. Looks like this one will take care of both of those now.
