It came on as the leaders were going into three. Nice run by Bland Jr. Congrats to the winner also.. It was a heck of a race.

Yep, another great night of racing on the red clay. Second time this year I was able to get down there and shoot photos. Always a great time there. Harris' flip in the first heat looked pretty nasty and one of the fire rescue guys told me that he had banged his knees up pretty good because he came down nose first over the banking. I got some shots of it that I'll try and post this weekend, he got some pretty good hang time. Hope he's okay and back at the track soon.

Congrats to Danny Holtsclaw on a great win as well as Jeff Bland on a thrilling cushion hammering run as well. Smith was just as great, but wasn't quite able to hold em off.

See some of you tomorrow, good night and God Bless.

I saw the red too but just for an instant and the top 4 were past the point where they could have seen it. Lot of reds and yellows tonight but the last 5 or 6 laps were worth it. Great job by Holtzclaw after it took so long for Short to get by Ricky Williams for 4th it looked like Bland had it wrapped after he got by Smith but Danny just kept charging around the top and made it work. Nice fast tacky track tonight with just a small strip of black in turn 3.....Aero

Congrats to Holtsclaw!!!!!

I didn't see the red flash on but my girlfriends son saw it for sure. Short saw it and wasn't too happy bout it either.

Kenny Niflis got the hard charger award for the 2nd. week in a row.

[QUOTE=Josh Kinser;115887]The red light did appear to flash on for a split second on the white flag lap, I dont think it made any difference though. Good run Smith[/QUOTE

That's what I saw also, it wasn't like the red flickered and then holtsclaw passed him that was a lap later. Holtsclaw got up on the wheel and won it and smith drove a hell of a race too. It's too bad people are so stuck on two cars that they wont admit that the hungriest driver just won tonight. Low buck teams that may not be able to afford to be crowd pleasers every lap but still run the same equipment all year hard. Josh you hit the nail on the head but few will ever understand.
